The DECAMAP team collaborated with The National Ploughing Championships in September 2025. DECAMAP were on hand to support the Event Controller and report on car parking and crowd movements using DECAMAP’s Geo-AI enabled platform. Understanding traffic flow, car parking, and capacity management are critical elements for the Event Controller and Traffic Management Teams during the Ploughing Championships.
The outdoor area in Tullamore, Ireland covers approximately 3km by 3km. DECAMAP’s drone intelligence provides the most cost-effective, near-real time way to monitor the situation on the ground, particularly over vast areas like this.
The DECAMAP platform can be shared with approved partners including the Civil Defence and An Garda Siochana to improve communications and situational awareness.
